3. Consent and Legal Bases for Processing
Where Canadian privacy law applies, K.bio collects, uses, and discloses personal information with appropriate consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
The appropriate form of consent depends on factors such as the sensitivity of the information and the reasonable expectations of the individual.
You may withdraw consent where applicable, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Some K.bio features cannot operate without information necessary to provide them.
For individuals in jurisdictions such as the European Economic Area or United Kingdom that require a legal basis for processing, we may process personal information based on:
- performance of our contract with you
- your consent
- compliance with legal obligations
- our legitimate interests, including operating and securing K.bio, preventing fraud and abuse, providing customer support, and improving the Service, where those interests are not overridden by your applicable rights
4. How We Disclose Your Information

For example, when you schedule a social media post, K.bio may transmit relevant media, captions, publishing instructions, and related information to the connected platform or a service provider that facilitates that integration.
Third-party platforms process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
4.3 Payment Providers

When you choose to connect or use a third-party service, that provider may collect or process information independently under its own terms and privacy policy.
K.bio is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services.
You may disconnect supported integrations through K.bio where available. You may also need to revoke permissions directly through the applicable third-party service.
Disconnecting an integration generally prevents future access through that connection but does not necessarily require immediate deletion of information previously obtained where retention is reasonably necessary for providing the Service, maintaining records, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, or complying with legal obligations.

These safeguards may include access controls, encryption, monitoring, and other security measures appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information.
